About the Colleges Council

BFC COLLEGES COUNCIL GRADUATE PREVIEW DAY, LONDON, May 2011

The Colleges Council was founded by the British Fashion Council in 1993. It creates an interface between education and industry, providing opportunities for students including events, bursaries and competitions.
Annual initiatives include the Graduate Preview Day, the Portfolio Award, the Heads of Course Seminar and the MA Scholarship supported by the LDA. Previous industry-led competitions include those headed by Maxmara, Harrods, Neil Barrett and Warehouse.
The Colleges Council programme is decided by the Steering Committee.
