BFC Appoints New Head of Events

The British Fashion Council today announces the appointment of Josef Jammerbund to Head of Events. He replaces Caroline Reader and will join the BFC's senior management team from 15th February 2013.

Alongside Clara Mercer, Head of Marketing; Gemma Ebelis, Head of Press and Jenico Preston, Head of Sponsorship, Josef will be charged with delivering and developing the BFC's strategic goals. Josef will report directly to Simon Ward, Chief Operating Officer of the British Fashion Council.

Caroline Rush, CEO of the British Fashion Council, added “Josef is a great addition to the team. We have a busy year ahead and having started on the first day of London Fashion Week shows he is fully excited by the challenge”.

Current Head of Events Caroline Reader is moving out of London but will continue to work with the BFC on a consultancy basis.

Josef joins the BFC from Jackie Cooper PR where he was Event Director responsible for delivering events for clients including Microsoft, Puma, Diageo, Starbucks, Motorola, Unilever and Covent Garden London both in the UK and across EMEA. Before that he was Senior Event Producer at Inca Productions.
