This year’s BFC Colleges Council Open Day will take place on Tuesday 8th April 2008, between 10am – 6pm at a new venue, the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) building, 66 Portland Place, W1.
Organised by the BFC, the annual event gives industry insiders the opportunity to preview the work of graduates who will be entering the job market later in the year. A wide range of retailers, manufacturers and design companies have been invited to attend.
Exhibiting colleges will be judged for The Drapers College Portfolio Award in association with the British Fashion Council, which will be presented at 1.30pm during a lunch reception. The Award is for the college that brings the best portfolio based on overall presentation - last year’s winner was Manchester Metropolitan University.
