The British Fashion Council’s (BFC) international design initiative LONDON show ROOMS will this season take London’s leading emerging fashion talents to Paris and to New York, in partnership with Centre for Fashion Enterprise, to increase their presence and develop their businesses internationally.

LONDON show ROOMS will open in Paris from 5th – 12th March and from March 23rd – 24th in New York. Centrally located in both cities it will be situation in 1er Arrondissement at JTM Gallery, 40 Rue Richelieu, in Paris and at the Soho Grand, West Broadway in New York. The showroom is a partially subsidised space for designers to sell their collections with the support of International marketing, media & sales advisers.  Sarah Mower, the British Fashion Council's Ambassador for Emerging Talent, and chair of the NEWGEN selection committee, will host an opening event at each showroom welcoming media and buyers.

Caroline Rush, CEO (Joint) of the BFC, comments “London show Rooms in Paris has been successfully running for three seasons and this season will also be in New York partnering with Centre for Fashion Enterprise. It will give our best young designers the means to further their global business profile.”

“CFE teaming up with the British Fashion Council and their London show Rooms initiative on its fourth New York press event is a signal to buyers, the finance community and manufacturers that these designers are respected, well supported and mean business” adds Wendy Malem, Director, Centre for Fashion Enterprise.
