My mind is frequently plagued by the notion of death. Whether that is the flashing thought of rolling my ankle off a pavement and being crushed under a car or being shot while walking through a field. These thoughts, though routed in reality, are twisted and subverted into deluded fantasies by my mind. My collection is centred around the latter and the fantasy of a farmer protecting his land. With the inspiration from my rural upbringings, I began looking into my Grandad as a gamekeeper. His guns, the game, and the clothing he wore intertwined with the distortion of reality and death became the focus of my collection.
