HOMME in Transit reflects my journey from Korea to London — a personal narrative of growth, identity, and ambition. As a "legal alien," I’ve lived between cultures, navigating city life while pursuing my dream of working in luxury fashion. Inspired by my travels in Korea and Japan, I drew from traditional architecture, especially the intricate pleating found in rooftops, and Korea’s enlightenment period, where Japanese and Western influences shaped dress and aesthetics. These elements informed my approach to silhouette — clean, classic lines contrasted with complex construction details. The collection explores the idea of “simplicity in complexity,” both visually and emotionally. It’s a tribute to movement, adaptation, and building a life — and a creative voice — in a place that once felt foreign. Through structure, fabric, and form, this work represents who I’ve been, who I am, and who I’m still becoming.
