Ever since childhood, my teddy bear Mini has been more than just a toy—she has been a source of comfort, a silent listener, and a constant presence through every stage of my life. My graduate collection is a tribute to this lifelong companion and an exploration of separation anxiety—the deep emotional attachment we form with objects that provide security in times of uncertainty and transition. Through my design, I express the reluctance to let go by pulling, stretching, tying and wrapped forms express the emotional tension of separation. Inspired by Mini’s transformation over time—from soft and plush to flat and worn-out, my textile development captures this passage of time .
