Hannah Sullivan is a Womenswear designer with a keen interest in designs with a wearability to the garments that suggest a rejection of functionality in favour of sentimental aesthetics. Her graduate collection concept was ‘Grandma’s Attic’. Drawing from this concept, she juxtaposed contemporary designs with the historical context of the fabrics, highlighting the contrasts between the trends of her grandmother's era and those of the present day. Her collection was made with a mix of denim won from her sponsorship with Advance Denim and sourced 2nd hand items, not only to emulate her concept but to be conscious of her sustainable design practices by breathing new life into pre-existing items.
