This design concept takes the spirit of traditional craftsmen as its origin and through deconstructing their logic and details of their works, transforms the collection into a perceptible visual language and spatial forms, magnifies the value of those handmade crafts that have been submerged by industrialisa- tion, and allows art to return to the texture of life. Resonance of Craft is not nostalgia, but a gentle resistance to the speedy society. Through design, we make the clumsiness, slowness and uncertainty of craftsmanship a new standard of contemporary aesthetics, awakening people's respect for the 'value of process ' - just like an unpolished piece of jade, its coarseness itself is a declaration of beauty. In this collection, through in-depth exploration of the heritage of textile embroidery craftsmanship, combines traditional Chinese handicrafts with contemporary design philosophy. The works take the revival of the endangered embroidery techniques as the core and reinterpret ancient wisdom through the narrative of modern clothing. By using machines to imitate Suzhou embroidery to sew classic patterns such as cloud patterns and flowers, a tactile dialogue between tradition and innovation is constructed in the rise and fall of the stitches.
