Money is a creative who approaches design as a form of emotional storytelling. With a strong interest in structure, texture, and concept-driven work, her creative journey began with a personal need to design garments that felt true to their own style and identity. Starting from DIY projects and hand-sewn pieces, Money developed a passion for craft, experimentation, and the expressive power of clothing. Over time, this curiosity grew into a deep interest in how garments can reflect emotion, tension, and personal growth. With a versatile approach to design, she enjoys exploring different aesthetics—from ready-to-wear to avant-garde, bridal, and couture—but always returns to the idea of creating something meaningful and emotionally resonant. Her graduate collection, Cradle of Ruin, is a reflection of this philosophy. Inspired by the emotional state of being caught in a dilemma, the collection uses origami-inspired pattern cutting to explore how people fold and reshape themselves under internal pressure. Combining emotional themes with technical processes such as fabric dyeing, screen printing, hand printing, and distressing, the collection is both conceptual and tactile. It draws from apocalyptic and garbage-core aesthetics, using muted tones and deconstructed forms to tell a story of quiet survival and transformation. Through her work, she aims to express the complexity of identity and the beauty found in emotional imperfection. She is especially interested in how visual storytelling and craftsmanship can be used together to create garments that go beyond fashion—becoming wearable reflections of feeling, thought, and experience.
