This collection is inspired by the designer's father, Jørn Kjonerud, who lived an authentically expressive life through 1990s rock and roll. Immersed in the peak of the rock scene, he toured in bands, embraced the chaotic lifestyle, and embodied its clichés—leather jackets, motorcycles, and the gritty reality of performing. Yet, he also navigated the tender contrast of fatherhood, holding a newborn while wrapped in smoke-scented leather. The collection explores this tension between the wild energy of rock culture and the innocence of family life. Drawing on the aesthetics of 90s rock—tattoos, piercings, fashion, instruments, and motorcycles—the designer uses hard materials like metal and leather alongside soft fabrics to express this duality. The collection is proudly gender non-conforming, reflecting both the raw power and hopeful vulnerability at the heart of rock and roll.
