This project delves into the provocative and intertwining themes of sex, religion, and corruption—three forces that have long shaped societies, identities, and power structures. The aim is to challenge traditional narratives and expose the tension between the purity of faith and desire. Through this collection, I intend to explore how these themes intersect within personal and political contexts, particularly highlighting the role of the body as both a site of worship and transgression. I will be using the juxtaposition of religious iconography and symbols with the silhouettes of lingerie. This contrast serves to question societal taboos and the ways in which institutions often repress, yet exploit, sexuality. Fabric choices—ranging from satin to leather. The concept of corruption is approached not just in the political or institutional sense, but also in the moral ambiguity that arises when desire and beliefs collide. This project aims to visually represent how power can be sanctified or perverted depending on who holds it—and how fashion can act as both a tool of conformity and rebellion. Ultimately, this collection is a form of storytelling. It seeks to provoke dialogue and introspection, using clothing as a language to explore themes that are often silenced or sensationalised. By confronting discomfort and embracing contradiction, the project invites viewers to reconsider their own beliefs and the systems that shape them.
