Recently graduated from Ravensbourne University London as a menswear designer with a BA in Fashion Design. My work focuses on historical garment construction, leather, and print, with a strong interest in tailoring and craft. Over the course of my degree, I developed a design approach that combines research-led ideas with hands-on technical making. I’m especially drawn to the structure and detail found in heritage menswear, and I enjoy reworking those elements into something more contemporary. My most recent collection, Thought Puppet, is based on the idea of feeling as though you're in two places at once. Explored through the concept of physical and psychological displacement—feeling as though one exists in two places simultaneously, yet fully present in neither. To communicate this idea, I employed various trompe l’oeil techniques, including both print and pattern cutting. I developed a technical print that replicates the appearance of aged leather and worn denim, applied to new lambskin. The images used to print these garments were kindly sponsored by The Vintage Showroom. During my time at Ravensbourne, I was fortunate enough to run in competitions, finishing as a finalist in the Golden Shears tailoring competition and shortlisted for the Louis Vuitton Graduate Accessories Competition, reaching the semi-final stage. These opportunities helped me sharpen my technical skills and gave me valuable experience presenting work at a highly professional level. Throughout my degree, I’ve built a strong foundation in garment construction, pattern cutting, and tailoring. I work confidently across concept development and technical execution, and I enjoy the process of translating research into tangible, well-made pieces. I’ve learned that I work best in practical, hands-on environments, especially when there’s room for experimentation and detail.
