Lottie Hope Bacon is a passionate womenswear designer, specialising in denim design and knitwear. With a hardworking and driven approach, she has a keen attention to detail and a strong focus on garment finishes in her work. Lottie’s design process thrives in three-dimensional exploration, with a particular love for draping and developing ideas directly on the stand. Her hands-on, experimental approach allows her designs to evolve organically, resulting in garments that are both refined and unique. Lottie’s graduate collection, Victory Lap, is inspired by the podium wreaths from Formula One races in the 1970s and 1980s. Supported by a denim sponsorship from Orta, she developed a series of garments featuring traditional denim details while exploring dynamic silhouettes and detailed top stitching. In May 2025, Lottie was selected as a semi-finalist for the Pierre Cardin Young Designer Award. She attended a design workshop in Paris, where she and 60 other fashion students from across Europe had the opportunity to learn from the Cardin design team. It was an experience she will never forget, as it expanded her design skills, industry knowledge, and professional network on an international scale. As she begins her professional journey, she is excited to bring her energy, creativity, and passion for garment making to the fashion industry.
