Camille Taylor is a womenswear designer and BA (Hons) Fashion graduate at Ravensbourne University London. Her graduate collection, titled “Evening Wear,” is a conceptual exploration of how clothing can reflect the effects of insomnia. Inspired by the quiet yet chaotic moments of restlessness, Camille began by studying the movement of garments and bedding during sleepless nights. This theme became the foundation for a body of work that blends intimate wear with emotional storytelling. Drawing from the silhouettes of traditional sleepwear—such as slip dresses, dressing gowns, and oversized T-shirts—Camille reimagined their forms through creative pattern cutting and draping. By manipulating scale and proportion, she constructed garments that portray the movement of clothing on and off the body during the night. Attention to detail is central to Camille’s practice.
