I am a graduate designer specialising in formal menswear with a focus on embellishment, textile manipulation and surface storytelling. My work is rooted in historical narratives, romance and mythology, explored through intricate prints, embroidery and tailoring. My graduate collection drew on the visual language of Rococo, referencing artists such as Fragonard, Boucher and Clodion to examine beauty, theatricality and cultural value. I find joy in researching art history and illustrating prints and designs led by narrative. My approach blends tradition with innovation, balancing contemporary silhouettes with detailed surface work to create garments that are both visually striking and narratively rich. Inspired by artists like Pietro Ruffo, I aim to expand the expressive potential of menswear while branching into womenswear, with storytelling, beauty and historical depth remaining central to my design practice.
