My name is Kezhi. I am a Fashion Knitwear Designer and sustainability advocate, recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University. Born in China, I grew up surrounded by traditional craftsmanship like embroidery and natural dyeing, which shaped my belief in slow, intentional design. At London College of Fashion, I refined my technical skills and embraced innovative approaches to sustainable fashion. At NTU, I specialised in knitwear, focusing on zero waste patterning, biodegradable yarns, and modular construction to highlight knitwear’s potential in driving sustainability. My final collection blends handcraft and machine techniques, using crochet, eco-printing, and repurposing to make sustainable design accessible to all. It invites consumers to shift from passive wearers to active contributors in a circular fashion system. I aim to bridge heritage and innovation, proving that creativity and responsibility can go hand in hand, and that sustainability must become an industry standard.
