The Future is Botanic is a vision for regenerative design—a fashion cycle that begins and ends in the soil. Inspired by a flower’s lifecycle, each look is a chapter: The Roots, The Stems, The Bloom. All fibres are either 100% plant-based or responsibly sourced UK wool. As a crocheter, I’ve long used natural yarns as a quiet resistance to synthetics. This collection builds on that ethos, using biodegradable materials from UK small businesses so each piece can safely return to the earth. The Bloom draws on bioplastic fashion, reimagining materials as agents of change. Each garment is handmade—from fibre development to final stitch—as a statement, a provocation, and a call for fashion rooted in care, craft, and sustainability. This is not fast fashion.
