As a knitwear designer, my practice is deeply rooted in emotional connection, self-expression, and the quiet power of feeling seen. I create garments that are more than just clothing, they are experiences. I believe in fashion’s transformative potential to shift how people feel in their own skin. Through tactile, expressive knitwear, I aim to craft pieces that inspire confidence, comfort, and a sense of individuality. My design process is shaped by exploring unique communities and subcultures, spaces where identity, storytelling, and craft intersect in powerful ways. I’m drawn to how people use clothing to express who they are, particularly within groups that exist outside the mainstream. Their creativity and authenticity inspire collections that celebrate difference and elevate everyday rituals into something meaningful. Technically, I work with both traditional and experimental knit techniques, blending handcraft with innovation to build rich textures, expressive silhouettes, and garments that move fluidly with the body. I favour slow, sustainable methods and natural fibres, approaching each piece as a form of wearable intimacy, carefully constructed to offer not just style, but feeling. At the heart of my work is a desire to make people feel special, as though the garment was made just for them. Whether through a bold colour, a comforting texture, or a subtle detail that resonates emotionally, my knitwear invites the wearer to embody a mood, an energy, or a version of themselves. It’s not about trends, it’s about connection, confidence, and care.
