KJ Tantivachyanon is a Thai-born fashion designer whose practice explores the intersection of function and emotion through material experimentation. With a background in both design and technical construction, their work often bridges high-performance wear with delicate textile crafts. During their studies at the University of Westminster, KJ interned at brands including Aries Arise, Chopova Lowena, and Saloni—experiences that deepened their understanding of contemporary design and production workflows across both streetwear and luxury sectors. Her graduate collection draws on a fascination with technical outdoor gear and its relationship to the human body in extreme environments. Influenced by the sensory experience of hiking through unstable conditions—mist, fog, and rain—KJ uses atmosphere as a visual and emotional trigger. The collection reinterprets functional design through a delicate lens, integrating handcrafts such as lace and knit into silhouettes that suggest mapping and navigation. Repetition and rhythm become tools of orientation. The result is a deeply personal narrative rendered through a balance of utility and softness.
