Growing up in a family that worked in women’s fashion I was surrounded by fabric, colour & pattern. As the eldest of 4, with parents busy at work, I spent much time on my own. I absorbed myself in anime, photography & observing the world. I became fascinated by the small, often unnoticed details, the quiet beauty hidden in the most mundane scene. As a designer I care as much about the emotional depth behind my creations as I do about texture & craftsmanship. Deeply inspired by Yohji Yamamoto’s philosophy, I believe true beauty lies not in perfection, but in imperfection & the incomplete. It is only with kindness & an open heart, designers can create work that celebrates individuality & worth. Fashion isn’t just about following trends. It’s about helping people express their inner worlds, emotions & unique stories through what they wear. I believe that clothing holds the power to be more than just fabric & form. Fashion is a powerful form of self-expression, a way for people to share their emotions & inner world through what they wear. I see how dominant brands shape collective aesthetics rather than cultivate individuals styles. This realisation inspired me to design pieces that empower people to reconnect with their personal sense of style. The core of this portfolio stems from a deeply personal journey. It reflects my belief that every experience, joyful or painful, is a gift. The creation of the portfolio represents my journey of transformation from reclusion to openness & from inner turmoil to peace. Each creation within this project represents steps along that path of self-salvation. I aspire to establish my own brand, one that remains true to my values & contributes positively to individuals and society as a whole. I am especially drawn to exploring how the rich cultural heritage of my hometown can be reinterpreted for modern audiences. I believe regional culture can be shaped through fashion & design to be shared & cherished across borders.
