Since college, my major has included clothing design and structure. When I first came into contact with clothing, I felt that only by understanding the structure of the human body and why people need clothing can we have a clear learning direction. I chose to understand the structure first, so I worked as a clothing pattern maker for more than five years after graduation. In the process of studying the pattern every day, I realized that design and pattern must complement and achieve each other. However, since the work of the designers I work with needs to have a large part of commercial nature, there are often many external factors in the clothing designed for the market that affect the design. After executing the designs of others countless times, I think I should really enter the world of design as a designer to completely turn pieces of fabric into pieces of clothing that can represent me personally. What exceeded my imagination in studying at UCA is that in addition to design content, we also learned a lot of business processes and needed to participate in each process personally. I learned how to make a company from its establishment to entering the market, which benefited me a lot. At the same time, in addition to learning this year, there are countless other gains such as friendship. Therefore, life always needs to take a step forward. No matter which direction you go, there will be unexpected encounters.
