My final collection ‘Provenance’ is an exploration into the intersection between sculpture and fashion. My strengths lie in design and flat pattern cutting, which I utilised fully within this collection. My project is inspired by modernist sculpture, and the marks the maker leaves on their work, focusing on how the human touch can be transferred into a tangible collection. My process is wholly concept driven, developing a strong foundation of research is the most important part of my creative process. For me, one of the key aspects of great design is creating a garment that my customer can not only look good in, but feel comfortable wearing.
