As a fashion designer with a deep-rooted passion for textiles, colour, and print, I am drawn to the stories that fabric can tell. My work explores the emotional and cultural connections we have with clothing, using bold visuals and tactile materials to evoke memory and identity. My creative journey is grounded in personal history and sensory experience. My final collection - Ann & Jim’s draws inspiration from my grandparents’ vegetable stall, a vibrant hub of colour, texture, and community. I translated the raw, organic beauty of fresh produce, and domestic garments into contemporary silhouettes and richly layered prints. Every detail, from custom-dyed fabrics to hand-drawn doily prints, celebrate the everyday poetry found in markets and memory. With a sharp eye for colour and an intuitive approach to print design, I aim to create work that is both visually striking and emotionally resonant. My goal is to continue exploring how storytelling, heritage, and sustainable craftsmanship can shape the future of fashion.
