My collection, 'Clarity', is a celebration of vulnerability. It draws inspiration from the nature of stained glass, molten solder, window reflections, and translucency. Each piece channels these elements through the lens of debutante fashion, designed for appearances at the Le Bal des Débutantes in Paris — symbolising a coming of age, not only in society but within oneself. Within society, the 'Glass Child' is frequently seen as a quiet burden. But for me, it became a source of strength. From as early as age 12, I found myself stepping into the role of a third parent. I have a younger sister and a younger brother who needed more care and attention than myself, I am what is known as the ‘Glass Child’. I chose to redefine what it truly means from my perspective, transforming the idea of the 'Glass Child' into something vibrant and powerful, reimagining it as Stained Glass — a metaphor for strength in fragility, and beauty through transparency
