In this Gentle Spring collection, silhouettes of broad shoulder and full hips are inspired by the oil painting “Gentle Spring” 1865 by Fredrick Sandys, the full sexualised body of Persephone, which embodies a depiction of a 'perfect female-being'. Inspired by the tale of Persephone, the goddess of nature returning from the land of the dead where she was once abducted by; the world blossoms into spring when she arises in the golden sunlight. There are two layers of fabrics, the blue square sequin represents the carnival of joy and dance; the lilac floral lace is the gentle soul sits within her body that nourishes what comes near her. When individual would like to contribute their own power to make a more sustainable lifestyle by employ the power of choosing/consuming fashion/items, under the belief/mindset of “Emotional Dressing”, “Immersive Shopping”, consciously-rooted “Invisible Sustainability”, comparing in the time between pre-covid and the 2025 future. “Emotional Dressing”: Stage dressing embodies the intimate connection between dancer and costume, the costume amplifies the dancer's emotions on stage, transforming movement into a living expression. Observers absorb this synergy, interpreting the dance through their impression of the dress, creating a unique emotional resonance. “Immersive Shopping Environment”: In the context of Metaverse and Augmented Reality, where individuals interact with narratives to complete ‘missions'. By blending theatrical elements with shopping, it engages all senses—sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell—creating a sensory-rich experiences & interactive atmosphere. This approach fosters deeper emotional connections, enabling shoppers to craft unique interpretations and form lasting memories. “Invisible Sustainability”: Rooted in the mass social & cultural subconscious which are gradually induced by individual change. The final stage of the ‘triad chain reaction’, can be achieved once the previous two stages are actualised.
