‘A Matter of Perspective’ explores dyslexia through disorientation, translating internal confusion into physical form. Garments are constructed back-to-front, upside down, or misaligned, challenging conventional ways of seeing and wearing clothing. The collection responds to ideas of exposure and misinterpretation, using monoprint techniques to reveal the internal construction of tailoring. By bringing hidden elements to the surface, it reflects the tension between visibility and misunderstanding. A masculine approach to womenswear runs throughout, placing traditionally male silhouettes on the female form and questioning identity, expectation, and perception. Belts are doubled, layered, or fastened with twin buckles, creating mirrored forms that reference the visual distortion of dyslexia and reinforce themes of repetition and altered perception. The result embraces disruption, encouraging new ways of seeing, wearing, and understanding clothing.
