I am a Fashion Design graduate from Kingston University whose practice combines knitwear, print and textile innovation to create contemporary menswear. Growing up in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, I developed a strong personal connection to the region’s textile industry, which continues to inform my work. My graduate collection, IT’LL B-REYT, investigates the tension between outward confidence and inner vulnerability. Drawing on Yorkshire’s textile heritage, I combine knitwear, print and bespoke woven fabrics to create layered textiles that reflect resilience, labour and emotion. I am particularly interested in the relationship between print and knitwear, using both disciplines to build depth, texture and narrative. Influenced by glass artist Fredrik Nielsen, whose work transforms solid glass into fluid, organic forms. I aim to celebrate Yorkshire’s textile mill heritage for a modern audience, demonstrating its relevance within contemporary fashion.
