Cut with the Kitchen Knife is an exploration of a slower process, a rejection of disposability. Created through limitation, each piece is carefully reimagined from vintage and antique textiles. The collection embraces memory, reconstructing worn denim, military surplus and collected objects into pieces that feel both old and new. Each look embraces a playful seduction, reimagining the Dada spirit, whilst confronting polished perfection through visible handwork. Reconstruction becomes a form of resistance, celebrating the life and stories embedded in each material. At its core, this collection reflects a longing for garments that are cherished and personal- a reminder to treasure what we have.
