Swetha Sasikumar is a sports-luxe designer whose work explores the emotion, identity, and craftsmanship of motorsport. Her graduate collection, ALL WE RACE FOR, pays tribute to Scuderia Ferrari, the Formula One team that has become a symbol of passion, loyalty, and devotion far beyond the racetrack. Inspired by former Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel's iconic words, "Everybody is a Ferrari fan. Even if they say they're not, they are Ferrari fans," the collection explores Ferrari's emotional universality and the powerful connection people have with the team. Drawing from her passion as a Tifosi and her Indian heritage, Swetha uses Navarasa, the concept of the nine human emotions in Indian classical arts, as a framework to explore how Ferrari evokes emotions beyond the racetrack, transforming fandom into a deeply personal experience. The collection interprets three rasas, Veera (courage), Adbhuta (wonder), and Sringara (love), through three contemporary looks. Each outfit translates its respective emotion through silhouette, construction, and Ferrari's iconic Rosso Corsa palette, transforming emotion into elevated design. At its core, ALL WE RACE FOR reflects Swetha's love for motorsport and how it has remained a constant through every emotion. It celebrates the belief that motorsport has always been about more than competition. Like the drivers on the grid, we all race for what we love. Because, in the end, it's all we race for.
