Anna Manaienkova is a womenswear designer whose work explores storytelling and fantasy through experimental silhouettes and textile manipulation. Her design approach combines theatrical references with playful construction techniques, creating garments that feel dreamlike and immersive. She also incorporates digital pattern development through CLO 3D, using it to experiment with garment shapes, volume, and pattern cutting throughout her design process. Her graduate collection, “Pages of Childhood,” is inspired by Girl on Red Carpet by Felice Casorati, pop-up books, and musketeers. Using laser-cut techniques to recreate the layered effect of pop-up books, she developed sculptural garments connected through recurring floral motifs and printed textiles. The collection reflects nostalgia, adventure, and the magical worlds created through childhood memory and imagination.
