Freya Jones is a freelance creative director and photographer working across editorial, runway, event and album art photography. Her photographic work demonstrates a strong emphasis on storytelling through use of striking characters and bold imagery. Her values extend to accessibility, sustainability as well as feminism and representation of women. Her final major project, titled ‘The Woman I Inherited’ investigates personal and shared female experiences, articulating an eclectic mix of ideas, ranging from feminine identities to sisterhood, and aiming to address the nature of what a woman is, what she is taught to be or what she can be.
