This project reflects my growth as a fashion designer and the evolution of my creative practice. Over time, I have developed greater confidence in my design process, refining both my technical skills and creative vision. Through experimentation with silhouette, materials, and construction, I have established a stronger personal design identity. This collection represents not only my current abilities but also the progress, learning, and creativity that have shaped me as a designer. My final collection explores the uncertainty surrounding the new millennium, inspired by the rapid technological change of the late 1990s. Using the concept of digital glitches, I translated themes of disruption and system failure into garments through distorted pintucks, varied fabrics, and bold colour. The collection reflects the tension between order and chaos, questioning the unpredictable impact of technological advancement. Although I began my studies designing womenswear, it was through developing my pre-collection and final menswear collections that I discovered where my passion truly lies. Menswear gave me the opportunity to challenge traditional expectations, exploring bold colour, texture, and experimental construction to show that menswear can be just as expressive, innovative, and exciting as womenswear.
