"A sofa is more than just a place to sit; it becomes a quiet witness to everyday life. It holds the imprint of conversations, laughter, and shared moments, absorbing the presence of those who gather around it. Over time, it carries memories through its worn fabric and familiar shape, becoming a physical archive of family, comfort, and connection. For this project, I decided to base it around my grandparents, especially my Nana Maria. After recently selling her house and clearing it out, I began looking through all their old pictures, those from the 1970’s particularly inspired me through colour and pattern. "
