My work explores personal memory through womenswear, drawing from archival photographs of my parents in the early 2000’s in the Netherlands. Using these images as both source material and emotional reference, I reinterpret the tailoring, silhouettes, and styling through my own contemporary lens. Influenced by suiting and cowboy archetypes, the collection reflects resilience and identity intersection, translating intimate family history into garments that feel both nostalgic and deeply personal.
