Culture is never static; it shifts, adapts, and resists. This project seeks to bring Spanish culture back into global fashion conversations. In recent years fast fashion, led by Zara, has dominated how Spanish fashion is perceived worldwide. This collection intentionally steps away from that narrative, instead embodying the attitude, energy, and empowerment of women within Spanish culture. Drawing inspiration from traditional motifs such as bullfighting costumes, salsa dresses, and my own lived experiences in Spain, I reinterpret these influences through a streetwear lens. The aim is to elevate Spanish cultural dress into high fashion and re-establish its global presence. By framing the collection as streetwear, I hope to resonate with youth culture and cultivate a niche subculture that both revives and redefines Spanish identity.
