My project focuses on redefining masculinity and femininity. I draw inspiration from flowers and my dad, whose style is both expressive and bold. The goal is to challenge the misogynistic ideals present in my culture and to break free from rigid gender norms. To achieve this, I used a variety of fabrics and patterns, as well as extreme proportions, to create a chaotic vision that disrupts traditional concepts of gender. I also used the colour pink and reinvent it into something more androgynous. Additionally, my collection takes cues from male birds, which are often more colourful and expressive than their female counterparts. By connecting this natural phenomenon to human masculinity, I aim to redefine what it means to be masculine. With my collection I aim to remove the labels of gender and have a more fluid expression.
