This collection explores Japanese perfectionism and collectivism, drawn from Japanese craftsmanship and work culture in Japan. My family runs a paper machinery manufacturing company in Japan, where I grew up seeing the value of perfection and craftsmanship, so I incorporated workwear silhouettes and actual blueprints into the textiles, which implies precision. For the wearer, this collection offers comfortable silhouettes that, while formal, remain free from uniformity. It aims to allow people to go to work, finish their day, and return home feeling happy. I am really honoured to have won the Silver Award for my collection at the Best of Graduate Fashion Week Catwalk Awards 2026.
