I am a fashion designer and BA (Hons) Fashion student at Arts University Bournemouth, graduating in 2026. My design practice is adaptable across menswear, womenswear and childrenswear. I have a strong focus on contemporary and concept-led garment construction. I work through silhouette, texture and print to create clothing that communicates identity and visibility. My design approach is based around research and personal narrative, often drawing from my own heritage as a starting point for experimentation. I am interested in how clothing can be seen as a form of storytelling and can translate memory and culture into modern and wearable designs. Sustainability is a key value within my practice and influences my decisions around material sourcing, garment longevity and waste. As a designer, I aim to create work that balances functionality with visual impact. I explore ideas of identity, gender expression, utility and visibility to develop a distinct visual language. I want to focus on creating garments that feel purposeful and expressive, while challenging traditional gender norms and encouraging more fluid approaches within clothing across different markets and audiences. I aim to develop a cohesive practice that evolves through continued experimentation and critical reflection.
