At the heart of my design identity is a belief that clothing should serve the individual rather than the expectations placed upon them. I approach fashion through a genderless lens, viewing the body as a space to wear garments rather than a form that dictates their shape. This allows me to create pieces that prioritise expression, comfort, and confidence, enabling the wearer to define their own relationship with the garment. My practice is driven by a desire to create clothing that feels authentic, personal, and wearable. I design garments that I would wear myself, drawing from my own experiences, aesthetic preferences, and relationship with fashion. This personal connection is essential to my process, as I believe that if a garment makes me feel confident and comfortable, it has the potential to offer the same experience to others. Rather than designing for a specific gender or body type, I focus on creating silhouettes that encourage freedom of expression and allow the wearer to feel like the most confident version of themselves. Through concept development, textile exploration, and garment construction, I aim to create collections that balance creativity with functionality. My goal is to develop clothing that fosters a genuine connection between the garment and the wearer, encouraging individuality while challenging traditional ideas of how fashion should fit, function, and be experienced.
