My practice explores fashion as a form of emotional storytelling, using garment construction to translate human experience into physical form. Through creative pattern cutting, draping and digital experimentation, I investigate themes of love, loss, fragility, memory and decay, creating silhouettes that feel instinctive, expressive and emotionally charged. At the centre of my practice is an interest in how clothing can hold emotional residue and communicate experiences that are often difficult to articulate. I approach design as both a conceptual and physical process, combining experimentation with technical development to challenge traditional approaches to silhouette and construction. Rooted in the belief that fashion should evoke feeling as well as function, my work responds to an increasingly digital and fast-paced culture by reconnecting with vulnerability, individuality and human experience. Through asymmetry, distortion, layering and tactile materiality, I seek to reveal beauty within imperfection and deterioration. By balancing conceptual design with contemporary wearability, I aim to create garments that communicate narrative and identity while encouraging an emotional connection between the wearer, the garment and the audience.
