I am a fashion designer specialising in activewear and swimwear with a focus on creative conceptual design, technical garment construction and sustainability. My innovative performance-focused garments balance functionality and considered design. My projects are endlessly inspired by the ocean, coastal landscapes and a lifestyle centred around adventure. I enjoy experimenting with materials, construction techniques and pattern cutting to create innovative, environmentally conscious pieces. Growing up as a competitive surfer has given me first-hand insight into the demands placed on performance garments. This experience informs my design process, allowing me to create garments that meet the requirements of athletes and outdoor enthusiasts, whilst maintaining a strong visual identity. I participate in many sports, and I particularly love to go surfing, swimming, climbing, running, hiking and snowboarding, to name a few! This gives me the opportunity to wear and test my own garments in the wild, allowing me to make constant design improvements for optimum comfort, fit and stand-out performance. I particularly enjoy designing garments that encourage confidence, freedom of movement and a connection with nature. I have a broad skill set spanning research, concept development, digital pattern cutting and advanced garment construction. I approach each project with curiosity, enthusiasm and attention to detail, striving to produce garments that celebrate the outdoors and encourage a lifestyle of adventures.
