Back to Biafra is a streetwear collection that celebrates Igbo culture, challenging its underrepresentation and reclaiming its history following the erasure of Biafra. It reimagines Biafra as a contemporary nation, combining traditional symbols with global Black cultural influences. The project prioritises cultural sustainability by sourcing materials from Nigeria to support local artisans, alongside using deadstock fabrics to reduce waste.
