Finders’ keepers is a quirky summary of how fashion can be reborn in a post-apocalyptic society. The origin of my collection is adaptation and resourcefulness; I explore ways in how clothing can be created to withstand the elements and be adaptable for sensory and seasonal needs. My designs shadow the lives of the few surviving women, their acknowledgement of their new reality and the need to create functional garments using the resources that they find. The outcome is a versatile collection that focuses on the importance of sustainability and the thoughtful design of adaptable clothing.
