I am a contemporary menswear designer whose practice explores the evolving language of masculinity through the lens of subculture, movement, and emotional expression. My work is driven by a fascination with the relationship between clothing and the body, creating garments that respond to physical experience while challenging traditional notions of masculine dress. My creative process is heavily informed by music, nightlife, and underground communities, using these spaces as a starting point to develop narratives rooted in authenticity and shared human experience. I am interested in capturing atmosphere and emotion through clothing, balancing structured tailoring with fluid, expressive silhouettes. My graduate collection, Sweat, explores the raw physicality and collective energy of underground warehouse rave culture. Inspired by the unapologetic intensity of sweating men and the ritualistic release that unfolds on the dancefloor, the collection celebrates the moment where body heat, rhythm, and emotion converge. As the music reaches its peak and layers are instinctively shed, I wanted to capture the beauty of vulnerability through movement, reframing sweat not as something to conceal, but as a symbol of liberation, connection, and self-expression. At the core of my practice is a desire to redefine contemporary masculinity through fashion. Rather than presenting strength as something rigid or performative, I embrace softness, vulnerability, and physical intimacy as equally powerful expressions of masculine identity. I see fashion as a medium for storytelling, cultural commentary, and emotional connection, creating garments that exist at the intersection of craftsmanship, performance, and lived experience.
