Erin Hammond's graduate collection explores the relationship between birdlife, memory and the natural landscape. Inspired by moments of observation and the quiet rituals of spending time outdoors, the collection translates the movement, colour and texture of birds into contemporary garments through refined silhouettes, considered material choices and tactile surface development. Reflecting on the value of slowing down in an increasingly fast-paced world, Erin's work celebrates curiosity, attentiveness and the emotional connections we form with the natural environment. Balancing thoughtful research with clean, contemporary design, the collection encourages a renewed appreciation for the overlooked details that shape our everyday lives. Erin Hammond is a First Class Fashion Design graduate from the University of Salford and recipient of the programme's Best Portfolio Award. Her practice combines strong technical craftsmanship with a research-led design process, placing equal importance on concept, construction and wearability. Passionate about creating garments with lasting emotional value, Erin develops collections that celebrate storytelling, craftsmanship and contemporary design while encouraging a deeper connection between clothing and the wearer.
