Curtis is a London-based menswear designer. His practice explores the tension between structure and release, using clothing to examine how individuals negotiate control, collective identity and personal freedom. His debute collection investigates the club as a form of shelter: a temporary space in which bodies gather, transform and find belonging. Drawing on rave culture, communal living, military and outdoor garments, the collection combines protective silhouettes with moments of exposure and movement. His references extend from Berlin nightlife to uniforms and nomadic survival systems. Tailoring is disrupted through volume, layering, adjustable construction and technical detailing, creating garments that shift between uniform, armour and refuge. Curtis works through research-led experimentation, pattern cutting and deconstruction, often developing forms directly on the body. His approach brings together precise construction with an instinctive, emotionally driven visual language. Materials, proportion and modular elements are used to suggest adaptability, tension and transformation. Across his work, Curtis is interested in fashion as a social and psychological space rather than simply an object. He aims to create menswear that feels both protective and expressive, balancing function with atmosphere, and translating subcultural experience into a distinctive contemporary design language.
