This project explores a collaboration between two brands from different industries, bringing together two of my biggest passions: baseball and snow sports. After returning from a trip to the United States, I was inspired by the New York Yankees, a globally recognised brand with a strong identity and a loyal fan base, making it an exciting partner for a collaboration. As a lifelong skier, I have always been interested in performance sportswear and the balance between functionality and style. My initial ideas focused on brands such as Salomon and Arc'teryx because of their reputation for technical innovation and contemporary design. However, I had already explored Salomon in a previous project, where I designed a waterproof hoodie and a concept hat that transformed into a sleeping bag in collaboration with the New York Yankees. Wanting to take a fresh approach, I began researching Oakley, a brand known for its high-performance products and innovative design. This led me to develop the idea of a skiwear collection that combines performance, functionality, and style. By bringing together Oakley and the New York Yankees, the project aims to create a unique collection that merges the worlds of sport, fashion, and outdoor performance.
