'Climate Melancholia' is a collection based around the idea of ataraxia: the state of freedom from emotional disturbance and anxiety. Exploring the emotions regarding climate change which results in feelings of despair, depression, and anger this project will be how to create a more tranquil environment with elements inspired from the ocean, ice and movement of water. Aspects of transparency created through dropstitch techniques and shibori dying this creates a mysterious but calm nature
