My graduate collection is inspired by three places in North East England, ICI Billingham, Middlesbrough Football Club and Whitby Seaside town, that hold unknown stories created by generations of my family. After searching through my Grandmas picture collection, this triggered a sense of nostalgia and connection to members of my family I never got the chance to meet. Through combining knitwear, workwear and sportswear, I’ve created a contemporary menswear collection, using classic silhouettes, complex knit techniques and bold graphics.
